How Dakota Accuracy got started
Dakota Accuracy started out of a passion for solving problems with construction. With interior remodeling services and accessibility solutions, we are equipped to make your home a more comfortable place to live in.
Our History
Owner, Merlyn Ketelsen, is a proud native of western South Dakota (Union Center). Growing up on a ranch, his work ethic is second to none. “Do it right, the first time” was instilled in him at an early age. He has 2 kids, Mariah and Liam. He enjoys spending quality time with them, supporting their extracurricular activities, and teaching them the “ranch kid ethics” he grew up with.
He served 4 years in the U.S. Army and spent 19 years supporting the Special Forces in North Carolina and finishing his service overseas. With his TOP SECRET clearance, he was a trusted asset in many ways, supporting the warfighter’s mission. Wanting to continue his mission of serving in the private sector, Ketelsen came home and started Dakota Accuracy Construction. He believes accuracy and quality is first and foremost. His mindset never changing, it has and always will be: providing the best service, with quality materials and solving any given problem, with the best solution possible. He strives to take care of his clients needs in the most efficient, cost effective way!
